Fitness & Wellness Manager
Orly's House
Lead the training families make time for
OurHouse exists to make family life easier. Our Houses bring childcare, play, wellness, food, workspace and community under one roof. They are places where families feel welcomed, supported and part of something real.
Fitness & Wellness is a core pillar of our membership, not an extra. We build strength for life outside the gym: training good enough that members never need another gym, in a club they already love. We're looking for the person who will lead it.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you'll own Fitness & Wellness in the House: the team, the timetable and the numbers. You'll lead our employed trainers, personal trainers, reformer trainers and freelance coaches, and make sure every class meets one recognisable OurHouse standard, whoever is leading it.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be on the floor coaching and leading by example, while owning engagement, attendance and personal training growth across the membership. Working closely with our Membership team, you'll make fitness part of every member's journey from their first day.
What you'll do
• Lead, coach and develop your team of trainers and freelancers through regular observation, feedback and progression conversations
• Hold one consistent standard across HIIT, strength, reformer and specialist classes, with coaching that welcomes everyone from first-timers to experienced trainers
• Own the weekly timetable, studio use and team rota, including weekend and freelance cover
• Keep studios and equipment safe and well presented, and meet all health and safety requirements
• Deliver against KPIs for fitness engagement, class attendance, repeat attendance and personal training pipeline
• Grow personal training by helping trainers turn class regulars into clients through genuine coaching relationships
• Use retention and usage data to recommend what we build next
• Grow the wellness offer through restorative classes, recovery, workshops and events that bring in members who aren't yet using fitness
• Be the named, known face of Fitness & Wellness in the House
This role will suit someone who
• Has moved from coaching clients to leading and developing coaches
• Is confident, warm and direct: ambitious about the training
• Leads from the floor and keeps their own coaching credibility current
• Sees members as whole adults and coaches every person as an individual
• Wants to build a training standard people recognise across a growing team
What you'll bring
• A Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential), ideally alongside a Reformer Pilates qualification
• Proven personal training experience, with real credibility on the floor
• Experience managing, coaching and developing a team
• A strong understanding of strength, HIIT and group training formats
• Experience working to KPIs and targets, and using data to make decisions
• The organisation to run a timetable, rota and freelance pool with discipline
• Availability to work weekends
